I want to describe the process for enrolling in electronic medical record system used by Therapist llc. I utilize TherapyNotes to meet with you online for counseling sessions, and to create and store your medical records online. This offers the highest standard, HIPPA approved, security to protect any information you share.
The part of the service where you register and access your personal information is called The Client Portal. When you go to any medical office for the first time you are asked to complete some forms. Doing this online is a little more involved than if you did so in person. This is due largely to the fact that signatures on paperwork are done using a computer.
TherapyNotes created a YouTube video to help you with this process. Go to http://www.youtube.com and in the box with X and 🔍 near the top of the screen. Enter the following ‘ How to Use the Client Portal in TherapyNotes ‘. You can copy the words between the ‘ ‘ and paste them into the box near the top of the page. Skip through any annoying commercials you may find on YouTube. The video is self explanatory as to how to enter the information we need for both of us to use TherapyNotes.
For a couple of reasons, it is important that you register online in TherapyNotes. It helps with billing and provides a very secure online system for us to meet for therapy sessions.
